Artist and dancer

Paktheema (Punch) Purichat began her training with Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Spanish Dance at Aree School of Dance Arts in Bangkok, Thailand in 2007. She deepened her interest in dance at the Prasarnmit Demonstration Secondary School in Bangkok which concentrates in Traditional Thai Dance and Thai-Contemporary dance along with some other Traditional Dances such as Bharatanatyam. She was part of performances that took place in the Bangkok Cultural Center, universities, and she also was part of the Japan-Thailand cultural exchange performance in Kyoto, Japan. She worked with Pusawat Thongsoi, who has a lot of experience creating traditional Thai dance pieces with many universities and organizations.

These experiences inspired her to  pursue this career by attending Bachelor of Fine arts, contemporary major at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. In the school, she took class with Diane Arvanites, Olivier Besson, Alissa Cardone,Russell Clarke, Gianni Dimarco, Anna Harmon, Junishi Fukuda, Flora Hyoin Kim Han, Shannon Lee Jones, Jun Kuribuyashi, Brian McGinnis, Linda Monich,(Balle Rachel Catanzariti, Francois Noel, Marissa Friedman, Dinise Pon,Marcus Schulkind Lonnie Stonie , Jim Viera , Kurt Douglas, and Ruka Hatua-Saar White.
